focus: Exploring Our Regional Sense of Place

The ninth annual juried exhibit, "focus: Exploring Our Regional Sense of Place," opens to the public this Saturday, May 20, in conjunction with the Chocolate & Wine Festival. The Butternut Gallery & Second Story Books will be open 11-7:30 that day (but closed Friday, May 19, to prepare).

Please come in Saturday and see the wonderful artwork, and vote for your favorites to receive one of the three People's Choice Awards.

This year the three judges, Kathleen Harwood, Kirk VanZandbergen, and Cary Joseph, selected work from 36 artists to comprise this very competitive exhibit, in a nice range of two- and three-dimensional forms by already-beloved artists and new voices.

The focus exhibit will remain on display in the gallery through June 24. All gallery proceeds from the sale of focus art will benefit the charitable causes supported by the Chocolate & Wine Festival.
