Betty Bryden Exhibit at CANO
Butternut's own Betty Bryden will be exhibiting her work at Community Arts Network of Oneonta (CANO), with an opening on First Friday, November 3, from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Hathaway Gallery at Wilbur Mansion, 11 Ford Avenue in Oneonta. Long known for her ink and watercolor paintings on handmade papers, Betty has concentrated in the past few years on collages influenced by the beauty of weather, season and time of day on the landscape. The collage above, Chill November, is a beautiful and seasonal example. The exhibit will also include the work of Carol Segesse and Madison LaValle, and will continue through November 19. Gallery hours are Thursday-Friday 2-6pm, and Saturday-Sunday 11-3.

Save The Date: Last of the Best

The Butternut Gallery & Second Story Books will present the group exhibit "Last of the Best: Artists of the Butternut Gallery," with an opening reception on Saturday, November 25 (Small Business Saturday) from 3-6 p.m. The show will include the work of gallery favorite artists. This will be the final exhibit the gallery presents in its current space, and will continue through the holidays.
